Everything has been so crazy with the holidays but I’m sneaking in to write a quick one and then back to the grind!

The Ninja Pirates had a T1³ Frigate Fight Night.  That’s T1 frigates with T1 fittings and T1 drones.  It was a blast and though we were all smoked (whoever said that the ship explosion lag is fixed by turning off the animations was WRONG; look at those pods!) by the same interceptor, we also took down a Harbinger!  It seemed like everyone had fun and we hope to do it again later this week.  I will say that it’s fucking SWEET killing (or even dying!) in a ship that, fully fitted, costs less than the afterburner from my normal setups.

We got to hang out with some of the other residents of Tama and even killed a couple people together.  Is there anything more heartwarming than two groups of pirates putting aside their differences to blob the shit out of hapless undockees?

The Ninja Pirates have also acquired some new recruits!  Well, they’re not new.  They’re skilled and viscious and new to us.  Sorta like the last car I bought.  Welcome Orthelo, WidowMaker, Mapes, P0isen Ivy, Sinthria, and Celestrias!  *\o/*

I’ve gotten a good stockpile of ships but money is running low so we’re going to have to do some sites here shortly.  I wish I could locate a steady stream of income that didn’t require so much effort.  Kind of like the one I have here at home…  *wink*

Yes, I know Halloween has been and gone; the title still fits.

So I log into EVE after spending all night agonizing over what ship to fly on my PvP pilot and finally deciding that yes, a battleship might work for me.  I hop onto my high security alt and start heading for Jita from Tama.

“GANKIS KHAN,” the popup trumpets at me.  “YOU HAVE ENTERED CALDARI SPACE WHERE…”

Gankis Khan?  I’m not Gankis Khan.  I’m…oh.  Oh, shit.

That’s right.  Somehow, although Gank flies an inty and Anyka is in a Crane, I thought I was Anyka Celeste.  And Gank is obviously not welcome in Nourvukaiken.  But praise Jesus! I’m in an interceptor and can book it for the gate and the safety of 0.3 space.  So I do.  And I totally make it with three quarters of my structure and start spamming that jump button.  Session change in progress.  Well, that’s lovely!  Lovely right up to the point Concord blows my shit up and someone loots my 9 million ISK microwarp drive.

*sob*

However.  Here is the treaty bit: the guy (and a SniggWaffe guy at that!) convos me and offers my expensive Coreli C-Type module back!  My jaw was honestly on my breastbone.  I did a happy dance of joy and edited my angry petition to explain that now I was only angry about the ship loss.

I’ve also been playing a lot of WAR. I got my Rune Priest to 14 and leveled my witch hunter’s Cultivating/Apothecary. I am so addicted to this game and keep rolling alt after alt. The RvR is so engaging and I really love the “PvE Lite” they offer. Too bad I don’t know anyone on this server. It’s kinda lonely now that Matt and Chris quit and Travis is busy. *sadface*
