The killboards have been looking better this week, though I’ll not be linking anything specific.  A lot more kills (with some expensive losses, yes) and some even included me!  I’m starting to get back into the interceptor swing of things and even took the Blackbird out for a spin while I fidget impatiently for Caldari Cruiser V.

Super Bowl Sunday was pretty fun: lotsa beer, nachos, HOMEMADE APPLE PIE, and World of Warcraft.  I didn’t play though, never fear.  That whoreburg can’t entice me back no matter what new dresses she buys!  I hung out with Ken’s brother, Derek and his pal (my favourite of them), Nui.  They are such adorable little nerds and it was actually a ton of fun to listen to them chatter on Vent while they ran through Black Temple.  Also, I guessed that Pittsburgh was going to win and I was so totally right.  HA!

I have hours and hours of laundry ahead of me, so I’m cutting this short (but I’m still fiddling around with a couple pages for the site that will replace that unsightly link list to the left and I swear I’m going to fictionalize something SOMEday).  How do three boys who do school or work Monday through Friday and one lady who hardly ever bothers to put on pants accumulate this enormous pile of dirty clothes?  There’s a conspiracy here, I’m sure of it.

So I managed to stay up all last night and then all today while we ran around and did the grocery shopping, got haircuts, played with dry ice (much to the boys’ delight) and I still need to watch Dexter before I can sleep.  Also, I was opening this pop-top can to get to an energy lollipop and I cut my pinky.  It bled. *sniffle sniffle whinge whinge*

I’m completely enjoing my position at ENN as Junior Editor.  I’ve been proofing most of the articles that come in (my FAVOURITE pastime) but I’m also supposed to be writing articles myself.  However, I haven’t been able to come up with ideas that really seem like they’d be interesting and my style.  Anyone have any ideas?

I’m hella stoked for Tuesday’s patch.  Since starting EVE, all I’ve wanted was to be able to PvP in a tiny ship and actually be a menace.  From the sounds of it, Assault Ships are going to have their place now and small-ship gangs will be viable!  I can’t wait.

Also, the Ninja Pirates may be joining an alliance.  This alliance is all about the legal yarr (though they aren’t opposed to a gankfest here and there and this is how we met them), so we’ve been working on getting our security status up again.  Ratting is a pain in my ass but at least the rats are stupid: I found a cargo expander on one.  What tanking Brutix is out waiting for a fight with a cargo expander fitted?!  Maybe he was mining.  Ha ha!

I stayed up all damned night again so I’d better go hop in bed before Ken wakes up and makes me keep him company all day.  *wink*
